If we aren't able to collect your scheduled repayment, don't worry—we'll automatically try again.
Here's what happens:
We'll make another attempt to collect your payment later the same day.
If the payment is still unsuccessful, we'll continue to retry every other day.
We may continue these attempts for up to 8 days from your original payment date.
You don't need to do anything while these automatic retries are taking place, unless your payment details have changed or you've been contacted by us.
How Can I Avoid Missing a Payment?
To help make sure your payments are collected successfully, please check that:
The correct payment card is linked to your account.
Your payment card hasn't expired or been replaced.
There are enough funds available in your account on your payment date.
You can update your payment card at any time through your Online Account Area.
What If I'm Struggling to Make My Payments?
If you're worried that you won't be able to make your repayments, please contact us as soon as possible.
The sooner you get in touch, the more options we may have to help. We may be able to discuss a repayment arrangement that better suits your current circumstances.
Please be aware that if you pay less than the amount agreed in your original loan agreement, your account may go into arrears. If this happens, the arrears may be reported to the credit reference agencies and could affect your ability to apply for future borrowing until your account is up to date.
Our team is here to work with you to find a fair and affordable solution wherever possible.
