Sometimes we need a little more information before we can make a decision about your loan application.
This doesn't mean your application has been approved or declined. It simply means we need some additional details to complete our assessment.
Why Do You Need More Information?
As a responsible lender authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), we carry out affordability checks to help make sure any loan we offer is suitable for your circumstances.
In some cases, we may ask to see your bank statement information so we can better understand your income and regular spending.
This helps us decide whether the loan is affordable for you.
How Do I Provide My Bank Statements?
If we need additional information, we'll let you know and you'll be able to provide it through your online account.
Option 1: Open Banking
The quickest way to provide your bank statement information is through secure Open Banking.
Open Banking allows you to share your bank statement information securely without sending paper copies.
Option 2: Email Your Bank Statements
If you're unable to use Open Banking, you can choose "Send bank statements by email" within your online account.
Once you've emailed your statements, please confirm this in your account so that one of our team can review your application.
What Happens Next?
Once we've received the information we need, we'll review your application and let you know our decision as soon as possible.
If we need anything else, we'll contact you and explain what is required.
Providing the requested information promptly will help us assess your application as quickly as possible.
