How do you decide when reviewing my application?

Modified on Wed, 1 Jul at 10:23 PM

When you apply for a loan, we carry out a number of checks to decide whether the loan is affordable and suitable for your circumstances.

Our aim is to lend responsibly and only offer credit that we believe you can comfortably repay.

What Do You Look At?

When reviewing your application, we may consider:

  • How you're managing your existing credit commitments

  • Information from your credit file

  • Your income and regular spending

  • Information from your bank statements (if provided)

  • Identity and fraud prevention checks

We don't make decisions based solely on a generic credit score. Instead, we look at your current financial situation and how you're managing your borrowing today.
